📖 “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and bless His name.” Psalm 100:4
What a beautiful portion of Scripture that invites us to give thanks, to praise, and to bless the Lord.
Imagine opening the grand gates of the courts of a King in His palace. This is a righteous King—one who has won every battle so that you may have peace. A King who blesses His people with provision, justice, and fairness. And now, you are allowed to enter His palace to bring your offerings of gratitude.
This is our Lord and King. His name is Jesus Christ.
He gave us freedom—not temporary freedom like earthly kings, but eternal freedom.
He broke the chains of darkness, gave us the gift of His peace, forgave us, redeemed us from our wrong paths, guided us, embraced us, and comforted us.
The Lord is wonderful! And today His Holy Spirit invites us to recognize the greatness of His Lordship—His majesty, His power, and His abundant goodness.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Let us come before Him with hearts full of gratitude for all that He is.
This is an invitation to begin this week on your knees, giving thanks for everything the Lord has done for you. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a grateful heart and to allow you to see, in every moment of your day, something for which you can glorify and thank the Lord. You will see that not even a lifetime is enough to express all our gratitude.
