We reverse the roles from our last episode as Aaron sits down with Jon to help him share the narrative of his life so far, which includes a scary and traumatic health crisis at age 17, straddling the fence of a career in business or a career in ministry, the indignity of baby blue cars, and his commitment to “the end of stupid decisions.” Aaron coaxes out Jon’s influences, inspirations, and ignition points of faith and grace in a life definitively and yet often confusingly marked by God. Jon reminds us that the Lord works in mysterious ways, but sometimes those ways include an immediate and direct demonstration of His power over our lives and purpose. All in all, Jon is a pioneer of new and impactful relationships. He discusses how he found himself as he made the decision to follow Jesus, and continues to tell his story in hopes of encouraging others to make the same intentional choice.
