Ep.16/ New Season, Still Multiplying
Once upon a time there was a van down by the river. A bunch of stuff happened and now there’s a podcast! Aaron and Jon are back (sort of) to welcome everyone to Season Two of Behind Open Doors, a [Multiply] podcast designed to take you behind the scenes, discovering what it takes to multiply disciples, leaders, and new churches in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia and beyond. From current events to trends, Thanksgiving tables to giving thanks for modern technology (sort of), bi- and multi-vocational church staff to all-in mission trips around the globe, we’re here to talk through disciple-making, raising up leaders, and planting churches in the best (and worst) ways and worst (and best) of times. Catch up on what’s been happening in Aaron and Jon’s personal lives, ministry, and paths as we kick off a new season of…well, lots of things.
My name is Aaron Dininny, Executive Director of the [Multiply] Family of Churches. I’m joined by my friend and co-laborer Jon Slenker, Director of Missions for [Multiply].
Here at Behind Open Doors, we want to help you multiply your disciple-making efforts by some teaching and training, but more so by sitting back with a cup of coffee/tea and inviting you into conversation about things that matter.
As followers of the Way of Jesus, we can be so distracted by minor things that get major attention. I believe this is a tactic of the enemy; to divert worship away from Jesus as Lord.
