â›… Good morning!
GRATITUDE FOR AN ANTICIPATED VICTORY!
📖 “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!”
1 Corinthians 15:57
Think of how many times in your life you were certain that what you longed for with all your heart—what you were working toward—was going to be yours.
Let’s consider a few scenarios: a promotion, a new job with better benefits, a race or competition, a legal battle, an illness, or any challenge that requires effort, struggle, or perseverance.
Many victories require preparation—academic, physical, or emotional. Others depend on third parties, like a good lawyer, financial resources, or expert support. And there are victories in which our faith is tested in order to endure.
Yet regardless of the type of battle, every victory requires something from us: time, effort, resources, tears, sleepless nights, exhaustion, stress, and emotional or physical strain.
But today, beyond what our human eyes can see, God reminds us of something extraordinary:
You have an anticipated victory!
And this is no ordinary victory:
It is not a victory that fades with time.
It is not superficial or temporary.
It is not a victory to boast about.
It is an eternal, powerful, and absolutely real victory.
It is a victory that transcends time, heaven, and earth… a victory for eternity!
And the most wonderful part is: it cost you nothing.
Jesus Christ fought every battle.
Jesus sweat every drop.
Jesus shed His blood.
Jesus endured accusation, shame, pain, and rejection.
Jesus stood firm with courage because His eyes were fixed on the goal…
And that goal was you and me: our salvation.
What an incredible expression of love! And how much joy this truth should bring to your life.
No matter what you are facing today, remember: Jesus Christ overcame everything, and if you believe in Him as your Lord and Savior, then—just as the apostle Paul said—nothing can separate you from the love of God.
You are victorious because Jesus won the victory for you.
So if today you find yourself in a battle, simply give thanks.
Yes… thanks for an anticipated victory.
Surrender every battle to the Son of God.
Trust His justice, His mercy, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, through whom we have victory.
đź’Ż Today we pray:
“Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for giving me a victory I did not deserve.
Thank You for enduring what I never could have endured;
for loving in ways I never would have loved;
for forgiving as I never could have forgiven;
for obeying in a way I could never have achieved.
Thank You for doing everything for me without asking anything in return,
and for giving me Your unconditional love—so great that it reaches into eternity.
Thank You, Lord Jesus! Amen.”
Have a wonderfully blessed day!
